Throughout history, a few men have redefined previously held notions about the physical limits of the human body by participating, excelling in, and breaking records in different sports and competitions. Some of these men have succeeded as a result of either their talent, their hard work, or, as is often the case, both. However, even among this small group of elite men, only a smaller few are as impressive as Larry “Wheels” Williams.

Larry Wheels’ Age, Height and Weight
Born on the 3rd of December 1994, Larry Wheels is 29 years old. At this relatively young age, he has made a name for himself in arm wrestling, powerlifting, bodybuilding, and, most recently, as a strongman. His story is even more impressive when we consider that, compared to so many others, Larry Wheels had a rough childhood. Born in New York, he revealed in interviews that his father left when he was one. By six, he had to go live with his grandmother because his mother got into a fight with her boyfriend.
Growing up in the Bronx was tough, and he was living in poverty as a child. Subsequently, he even spent some time shuffling around foster homes. By age 12, he decided to live with his mother in St. Martin, the French Caribbean Island. But even there, he was still poor. And in St. Martin, his only schooling options were a French school or a private English institution. He couldn’t attend the French school because he did not understand the language, and the private English school was way too expensive for his mother.
Unable to attend school, Wheels soon became bored. At this point, he was also finding it difficult to make friends because most of the local teenagers just bullied him. Due to the boredom and bullying, he decided to start exercising because he no longer wanted to be the tall, skinny kid. But even exercising was a challenge in St. Martin because the local gyms would only admit people over 16.
Wheels did not let that discourage him. He constructed a weight set with two 40-lb (18 kg) concrete blocks and a broomstick and started to lift. He would also do pull-ups, push-ups, and sit-ups every day.
After returning to New York, he got his first job, which came with a gym membership. By 17, he was already the strongest in his gym, and since he loved it so much, he decided to keep training and getting stronger.
Height and Weight
Today, Larry Wheels is still relatively tall – standing at 6”1’ or 185 cm. But he is definitely not skinny. His weight has moved around a lot over the years, largely dependent on what he is competing for. He even famously gained 53 lbs (24 kg) within five days last year.
We believe he currently weighs between 244 and 255 lbs or 110 and 115 kg. But he has gone as high as 297 lbs (135 kg) to participate in the 308 lb (140 kg) class for powerlifting competitions.
Larry Wheels’ Net Worth
Like many of the biggest fitness stars, Larry Wheels has capitalised on his audience and fame to earn extra cash. He currently has over 5 million followers on Instagram, 2.6 million on TikTok, and almost 3 million subscribers with 914 million views on YouTube. Over the years, his YouTube channel has contributed significantly to his net worth. YouTubers.me estimates that he has made just over $1.1 million from his YouTube channel since he started it in 2013.
Larry has also shown himself to be quite an entrepreneur. He is the founder and owner of PR Lifestyle, a lifting gear brand that has gained significant popularity for its quality. He also owns Personal Record Sciences, a brand of supplements he designed, and sells training programs on his website. Finally, and most recently, he opened One Gen Gym, a 15,000-square-foot gym in California with impressive bodybuilding and powerlifting equipment.
On his assets, he has a budding car collection with two very exciting cars:
- The McLaren 570S, which is estimated to cost around $205,000, and
- A Tesla Model X which is estimated to cost $110,000.
Last year, he also bought a gorgeous house on the outskirts of L.A. but revealed that he ended up paying less for the house due to the low prices in the area. We have no more details on how much the house costs.
But Larry has not always been careful with his spending. He has fought through a porn and sex addiction that significantly depleted his finances. He has admitted to spending up to 5 figures in one day in sex chatrooms and having 56 overdrafts on his account at one point. It is so great to see him find a system that helps him control his spending and not waste money to fund addictions.
All this information puts his estimated net worth at U.S. $1.5 million. Given his entrepreneurial nature, we hope to see this rise in the coming years.
What is Larry Wheels’ Workout?
Like his weight, his workout routine depends on what competition he’s training for. In 2019, he announced that he would start competing in Strongman competitions. So, he began training with Strongman icon Hafthor Bjornsson. In this interview with Flex Lewis on the Straight Out Of The Lair Podcast, Larry talks about what it’s like to train with Thor.
But regardless of the sport, Larry always goes hard in the gym. His willingness to push himself and his passion for training has helped him become the holder of a couple of world records, and he has some impressive personal records.
Larry Wheels’ Records
In 2017, as a 22-year-old, Larry first became a world record holder by totalling 2,275 lbs (1032 kg) in the 275 lbs (125 kg) weight class. His lifts to achieve this were a 610 lb (277 kg) bench, an 855 lb (389 kg) deadlift, and an 810 lb (368 kg) deadlift.
At the 2020 Arnold Classic, he also broke Eric Lilliebridge’s world record with 2370 lbs (1075 kg) in the 308 lb (140 kg) class. This time, he performed an 870 lb (382 kg) squat, an 855 lb (389 kg) deadlift, and a 645 lb (293 kg) bench.
There has been a lot of confusion about his records, particularly his max bench because he has been so impressive. For instance, in 2023, he exceeded his raw max bench press with a paused-rep PR of 661.4 lbs (300 kg). But as it stands, his best lifts are a 900 lb (408 kg) squat, a 926 lb (420 kg) deadlift, and a 675 lb (306 kg) bench press.

Did Larry Wheels Tear His Biceps?
Larry Wheels has torn his biceps on two occasions that we know of. In 2019, while training for Giants Live – a Word Strongest Man Qualifier – Larry suffered a biceps tear that, thankfully, wasn’t too serious but stopped him from participating in the event. The injury happened while lifting some Atlas Stones and was captured in a video he shared on Instagram.
Wheels had successfully lifted three of the Stones and was about to lift the fourth when he felt the injury, causing him to drop it. He subsequently made another video on his YouTube channel, giving some great advice on dealing with injury. He emphasised the importance of getting any injury or potential injury properly checked out and discouraged using “bro science” to avoid making an injury worse. He also talked about the importance of proper technique when lifting and admitted that he was more focused on his speed than his technique when the injury happened.
Again, in 2021, Larry tore his biceps while training with Monster Micheal Todd in a Dubai gym. This time, he attempted to execute a 430.8 lbs (195.4 kg) log press for the second time. Unfortunately, he could not complete it.
Fans on the internet have made a lot of jokes about the appearance of Larry’s torn biceps. Larry has also participated in the fun, calling his biceps “double peeked up!” in an Instagram post.
Is Larry Wheels Natural or on Steroids?
Another reason Larry is so beloved by his fans is that he is one of the few in the fitness industry that has publicly admitted to using steroids since he was 17. But after straining his back in 2022, he realised that steroids made him more prone to injury and, in the long term, could hurt him.
In 2022, he switched from steroids to 175 milligrams of Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) per week. He believed TRT would make him “more disciplined,” and he said he was excited to see how much he could push himself on TRT. He has also said that since he stopped taking PEDs, he has been less anxious, and he feels a lot healthier.
But he has also spoken about how TRT sends his libido “through the roof.” and to an extent, it contributed to his sex addiction.
Larry Wheels’ Current Girlfriend and Dating History
The most recent information on this subject indicates that Larry’s current girlfriend is Sheyla Djakovac, But Larry has had quite a dating history.
Chelsea King
After starting his fitness career, Larry’s first prominent relationship was with Chelsea King, a female athlete. Since they were both working in the same space, they appeared together in public often and were quickly known to be a couple. However, in 2019, she released a YouTube video where she explained that she and Larry had broken up because Larry was unfaithful and abused her mentally and physically during their five-year relationship.
THE TRUTH BEHIND LARRY WHEELS AND I
She plays audio clips of an argument with Larry in 2016 in the video. At some point in the audio recordings, we hear King screaming for Larry to get off her. She eventually explained that she had to sit in a corner holding a knife to keep him away for her protection. She then explains that when Larry called the police, he told them she was threatening him with the knife.
Larry emphatically denied all the allegations in a video. He pointed out that the police examined the audio clips and found no evidence of physical abuse anywhere. He also denied ever putting his hands on King, clarifying that they had dated for a month, broke up for a year, and got back together to date for three years.
He concludes that King only threatened to make those accusations when he informed her he was dating someone else.
Nicole Drinkwater
Sometime in 2019, Larry started dating Nicole Drinkwater, who used to be a fitness influencer but is more of a comedian these days. Since they were both big in the fitness industry, their relationship caught the attention of many fans who were rooting for them. But they split in 2021 or early 2022.
When asked about it in an interview with Bradley Martyn, Larry explained that the breakup was because he was ready to get engaged, but he found out she wasn’t ready. She, however famously defended him against the allegations Chelsea King made against him.
Sheyla Djakovac
She’s a Serbian bombshell whom Larry says he found on Instagram. He then slid into her DMs, and the rest is history. In an October 2022 Instagram post, Larry shared that he proposed to Sheyla, and she said yes.
He has subsequently spoken many times about how his fiancé has helped him in his fight against addiction and how grateful he is to have her. There is a video on his YouTube channel where he teaches Sheyla how to squat.
Apart from that, they have largely kept their relationship under wraps and are a very private couple.
